Issue No. 4 8 August 2003 This is the fourth in a series of Newsletters which we publish every 4-6 weeks to our "The Lofts Sathorn" home owners and prospective clients. Our aim is to keep you fully informed on the progress of the development at Soi Meksawat during the period of construction and before transfer. The topics we will keep you updated about will include construction progress, choice of suppliers and materials, programme, meetings, on-site visits, progress of show homes etc. We hope you will find this informative and we welcome any comments from you by telephone, email, fax or ordinary letter. Construction progress has been set back somewhat by the onset of recent heavy rains. However, to bring work back in
line with the programme for project completion in November the Main Contractor, K-Tech, have allocated additional
workers on site. This was facilitated by being able to accommodate them on an adjacent piece of land recently
purchased by Kudu. The front cluster of 3 Lofts has now been topped off, all exterior infill walls are complete and windows are going in. The room arrangements, shape and height within the units are now fully apparent. Interior fit out works on the Show Loft will further emphasis the quality of space and light in The Lofts Sathorn. The other clusters are now all in various stages of construction. One can now get a good feel for the entranceway and curved internal courtyard and the strong feeling of space, 11 metres from Loft gate to Loft gate, 17 metres between the face of the buildings. |

DESIGN The interior design work on the Show Loft (12), although delayed by construction progress for the reasons stated earlier, has started. Doors, glass block panels, electrical conduit, staircase and bathrooms are going in on site, while joinery units including kitchens and wardrobe units are being fabricated off site. We are now working towards completion of the interior fit out work by early September, at which point we will give you details of the official opening of the Show Loft. Our team has stood on the roof terrace of the front cluster and remarked that not only is the uninterrupted view looking towards Sukhumvit Soi 24 stunning, but also very quiet. The physical feeling of free flowing space is also very evident now as we walk around the envelope of the Lofts, created by the open staircase, mezzanine and internal courtyard. It will be a lot of fun living in these homes! |

THE LOFTS SATHORN AT GAYSORN PLAZA The Gaysorn Plaza Loft exhibit opened on July 17th and will now run until August 11th. Our exhibition space portrays elements of The Lofts lifestyle and furnishings to be used in the living space, the master bedroom and the internal courtyard. The model of the site and of the cluster of Loft 14-16 (all sold) are also on view, as well as a power point presentation of the project. CB Richard Ellis sales team are on duty and they are available to walk you around the exhibit. |
