Issue No. 1 9 April 2003 This is the first in a series of Newsletters which we will publish every 4-6 weeks to our "The Lofts Sathorn" home owners and prospective clients. Our aim is to keep you fully informed on the progress of the development at Soi Meksawat during the period of construction and before transfer. The topics we will keep you updated about will include construction progress, choice of suppliers and materials, programme, meetings, on-site visits, progress of show homes etc. We hope you will find this informative and we welcome any comments from you by telephone, email, fax or ordinary letter. CONSTRUCTION K-Tech have been appointed as the Main Contractor for the project and were given site possession on March 4, 2003. They have completed initial site survey works and erection of site screening onto Soi Meksawat. They have commenced piling works for the permanent perimeter wall around the other 3 sides of the site and for the Lofts themselves. K-Tech will provide 24 hour on-site security during the construction period. Visitors to the site can liaise with our site supervisor if they have questions, as we have a dedicated site office with a site model, images and material sample boards. K-Tech have committed to an 8.5 month construction programme which is on target for completion of all works in mid-November 2003. DESIGN The design team continues to fine tune some of the exterior and interior details such as the softscape landscaping, front entrance door and bathtub in the master en suite bathroom, the latter which will be a unique tailor-made feature. We will include final images of these and other items for you when they are complete. In parallel to refinement of details, the concept for interior fit out of our two proposed show homes is being worked on. We intend having one home which will have an eclectic Asian look with some strong colours and the second home having more minimalist contemporary lines with more muted earth tones. |

SITE VISITS
Brochures, image boards, samples of exterior and interior finishes as well as the site model are all available at the site. |
Our intention is to fit out two show Loft homes. We are currently liaising with the contractor with a view to fast tracking the construction of the two units to allow interior fit out works to be undertaken. We will arrange conducted tours of these show homes once the structures take shape and once the interior fit out is in place.
OTHER MATTERS | We have already had good press reviews from both Thai and English language newspapers (the last of which was in The Bangkok Post on March 24th) and it is clear that the contemporary "look and feel" of the Lofts has surprised and delighted the market, given the very positive reaction. We will continue to highlight these articles to you as and when they appear. If you would like copies of any of these please let us know.
